Family Farmers and Local Suppliers

Over the last eighteen years, Agriprocessors has purchased more than 1 million head of cattle from farmers across Iowa and in neighboring states. Agriprocessors purchases all of its cattle based on handshake agreements with the farmers who sell to it.

Agriprocessors’ word is its most important commodity. Agri works closely with local farmers and tries to listen to and address their concerns.

Its relationships with long-standing and new cattle suppliers have allowed Agri to meet the growing demand for its products.
