Workforce Recruitment and Composition

Growing demand for its products has fueled a growth in Agriprocessors’ workforce. Agriprocessors often finds itself with too few employees to fill its available positions.

Agriprocessors does limited advertising to fill its non-salaried positions. New employees come to Agriprocessors mainly through word-of-mouth. As a result, many of Agriprocessors’ new employees found their jobs through family members already working for the company.

On days when Agriprocessors interviews new potential employees, applicants are lined up and waiting to fill the available positions.
