Training and Safety

Upon accepting employment at Agriprocessors, all employees receive basic safety training, including training in Agriprocessors’ critical Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures that ensure machinery is inoperative prior to maintenance procedure. All basic orientation materials and videos are presented in both English and Spanish.

Following their basic safety orientation, Agriprocessors employees receive safety training from their supervisors for the positions for which they have been hired. The content and length of this training varies based on the position. Each new employee is assigned a more senior employee as his or her “buddy,” who assists in the training and orientation of the new employee.
